Richard Hu is a producer and composer of Chinese descent. Under the name of "Forged Reigns", he's carved out an audience for himself in the underground "doujin" music scene internationally with his single titled "Demonkin" appearing in the widely popular mobile rhythm game "Phigros" in 2021. Since then, he has gone on to release music with various independent labels as well as two solo albums titled "A Different Kind of Evil" (2023) and "HIGH HORSEPOWER" (2024). His unique background as a classically trained pianist with a love for electronic dance music can be heard in his production style with a focus on soaring synth melodies and hard-hitting sound design found across a wide range of genres.

Richard is currently studying at Queen's University as a Bachelor of Music student. His mentors include Dina Namer, Dr. Matt Rogalsky, Dr. Christopher Mayo, and Dr. John Burge.
