Shelby is a Director/Composer/Musical Director located in Calgary, AB. To date, she is most experienced composing and creating music for theatrical productions, with a strong interest to move into film/game scoring.

She holds a Professional Certificate from Berklee College of Music, and is currently completing a Graduate program in Film and Game Scoring through the Film Scoring Academy of Europe. She is learning orchestration from Dr Norman Ludwin, which includes a separate certificate program that she's completed which focused specifically on writing for String Ensembles.

Shelby has worked with the European Recording Orchestra on 6 live recording sessions featured on her SoundCloud page, and has a clear understanding of how to integrate live recording with MIDI instruments.

She has also taken classes through the SCGC Academy, including the MIDI Orchestra with Amin Bhatia and will be taking more in the future.
