Silas Goodman is a Montréal-based classically trained composer, filmmaker and sound recordist. Harboring an equal love for film and music from a young age, he studied music theory and composition at Boston University under the mentorship of John H. Wallace, before transferring to Concordia University, Montréal, graduating with a BFA in film studies and a minor in music in 2021. Silas's work has been screened at the Fantasia International Film Festival, Rendez-vous Québec Cinéma, and the Atlantic International Film Festival, among many others.
