Tamara Miller is an award-winning composer, singer- songwriter, pianist, and producer based in Los Angeles. With over 15 years of experience, she has built a dynamic career creating custom songs and instrumental pieces for major films, television shows, and commercials. Her music has been featured in productions such as Saturday Night Live, The Young and the Restless, Netflix’s Single All the Way, Hallmark Christmas specials, The Bachelor, Tom and Jerry Holiday Promo (Warner Bros.), TODAY, and more.

Originally from Toronto, Canada, Tamara's career took off with her debut EP, 60 Seconds, whose title track was featured on the hit teen drama series Degrassi: The Next Generation. Her follow-up album, Changing Lanes, gained traction on MTV reality shows. Tamara received her Bachelor of Music from York University in Toronto before expanding into production music, composing albums for leading publishers such as APM Music and Warner Chappell Production Music.

In 2023, Tamara composed the original score and sound design for the documentary short film Finding My Edge, which has been showcased at over 30 film festivals including SCREEN ATX in Austin, Palm Springs Film Festival, Venice Film Festival, and Santa Barbara Indie Film Fest. Her exceptional sound design work earned her the "Outstanding Achievement" award at Indie Short Fest.

Recently, her music was featured in a national Medicare commercial airing across major networks, including NBC, ABC, CBS, and FOX. She also secured another national commercial, this time for LINA Insurance in Korea.

Tamara is a Voting Member of both The Recording Academy (GRAMMYs) and The Television Academy (EMMYs). Tamara specializes in piano-driven, introspective, and emotional compositions, as well as inspirational singer-songwriter pop songs. She is also skilled at creating dramatic and tension-filled cues for true crime series. Most notably, she co-wrote two new songs for opening and closing scenes in Season 5 of NBC's Las Vegas.

Before making her way over to Los Angeles, Tamara honed her craft in Austin, Texas. She graced the stage on Fox 7 Austin Morning News and performed at renowned venues like One World Theatre, The Parish, Mozart's, Waterloo Records at Austin Airport.
