In this engaging master class, veteran mixing engineer Jeff Wolpert will take you through the fundamentals of Immersive Audio, addressing frequently asked questions such as what it is, why it matters, how it works and how it may benefit your career followed by a demonstration.

Meet Your Tutor

A multi-award-winning engineer, mixer, producer, editor, and educator Wolpert has worked with some of the biggest names in today’s music, television and film industries. He is the owner and chief engineer of Desert Fish Studios located in downtown Toronto a Dolby Certified ATMOS Music facility.

He has won 3 JUNO Awards for Recording Engineer of the Year and recorded and mixed the score of more than 200 movies and countless episodes of television programs. He is the Director of and Adjunct Professor in the Master of Music in Music Technology and Digital Media graduate program at the University of Toronto. Known for his mastery of recording and intricate mixing, Wolpert is also recognized for his vast musical, technical and computer knowledge.
