Introduction to Mixing for Film/TV

Your music should be heard! Best practices for mixing and delivering music for film, including creation of labour saving templates, organizing stems, using bus compression and advanced limiter techniques to create industry standard mixes that can compete with dialogue, and exploit multichannel sound. Wrestling with transients, spectral shaping and all the software suggestions you could possibly want. Working with headphones, and how to get the most out of starter systems is covered too.

Tom has thousands of plug ins online and can recommend the cheapest and the best for your needs. Logic Pro will be used for demonstrations, but the content applies to all DAW’s and hardware setups.
