Alex Loukos
ALEX LOUKOS is a multidisciplinary storytelling professional: a bilingual seasoned editor, producer and director of French language productions in Toronto for film and TV.
He's collaborated with composers on several occasions, until the day he felt a special joy in creating his own compositions. This became a passion that kept growing ever since.
Having an extensive understanding of the culture and the craft of film making is his greatest asset, especially when an in-depth approach to composing for film is needed to best support a director's vision.
Joining the SCGC allowed him to network and develop his technical and creative skills, through a series of workshops and the SCGC's mentorship program. Alex keeps seizing opportunities to develop his profile, add to his credits and grow as a screen composer.
Alex studied arts & cinema in Paris at La Sorbonne University and developed early on a palette of diverse cultural and artistic sensibilities beyond the cinematic space as well, including theatre, electroacoustic music and art installations.
A comprehensive website is in the works. Until then, a private demo page with video and audio samples is available upon request.
