Canadian composer John W. Marshall is a film, television, and video game composer based in Toronto, Canada. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Marshall has composed music for short films, advertising, and interactive media, with work including Biodrive (Loading Studios), an unannounced title for Nightdive Studios (Atari), and several independent films. In 2025, he was selected for the Vancouver International Film Festival Amp Cohort, where he connected with filmmakers and industry professionals while furthering his career in screen composition. Drawing on a background as a DJ, and a hip hop and electronic music producer, Marshall's music blends beautiful orchestral writing with modern electronic textures to support story driven experiences.
