Léa Dupuis

Léa Dupuis is a composer and musician. Specialized in music for the screen, she participated in various projects, mainly for short films, animated movies and audiobooks. She works in instrumental as well as digital music. She launched her first album "Far Away" in July 2020, featuring the flute as the leading instrument. Musics in this album uses classical as well as electronic sounds. In February 2021, she launched her second album "Rêverie", this time with a different musical style (New Age music).







In her career, she participated also in various projects as a performer for concerts, studio recordings for albums and soundtracks, film shooting, etc. She likes all musical styles but her main interest is for mixed music, a combination of digital music and acoustic instruments. She works mainly to integrate flute, her main instrument, in various musics styles such as electronic or experimental music.







Léa Dupuis has a bachelor’s degree in musical practice and a level master certificate in music for the screen from the University of Quebec in Montreal. She also participated in various masterclass and workshops. She was, among other things, selected along with seven other composers for a workshop organized by SOCAN and SOCAN foundation at the Banff Center under Michel Poulette and Marc Ouellette’s supervision (2019).
