Michael is a graduate of the Artist, Engineering, and Post Production programs at Musicians Institute Los Angeles. As a film composer and production engineer, he collaborates with other artists to fully develop their vision through sound. He loves when he gets the opportunity to tell a story from beginning to end — from idea generation, to writing, performing, recording and producing.

Michael has written original score and songs for films such as A.R.C.H.I.E 2 (starring Michael J Fox,) Cagefighter: Worlds Collide (starring Gina Gershon) and More Together. He has composed original music for ad campaigns for the BC Knowledge Network, and podcast themes for Kids Who Explore, and Skin Care Literature.

He is also the lead singer/ guitarist for Vancouver BC based Indie Rock band Pinebarren.
