All categories are open to submissions from SCGC members and non-members.  

The deadline for all submissions was extended until 5pm ET on Friday May 9th, 2025 (no further extensions!)

Things to have prepared prior to starting the submission:

• Composer’s Statement – You are invited to provide a short 250 word statement on the concept and creation of your original score for this project.
• Cue Sheet – with highlights and exclusions indicated
• Video to upload of your submission (if you can not upload, email Alison to discuss – awards@screencomposers.ca)
• Photo of Composer
• Production Still (1920 x1080, no text or logos on image)
• Please submit a production still or screen capture from the production. 
• 30 second music sample of your submission (no dialogue)

If there is a * next to a field, it is required and the form will not submit without it being completed.

• Members: The submission fee is $35 per submission. All entrants of composer teams must be members to receive the reduced member fee.
• Non-Members: The submission fee is $60 per submission.
