Chris Scott is a composer that brings his past life as a theatre performer to tell evocative and compelling stories through his music. A recent graduate of Berklee Valencia’s Masters in Scoring for Film, TV and Video games, Chris Scott has two North American premiers of his stage musicals Erlking, and The Killing Jar in addition to his work on the screen. He is known for his lush, thematically driven music as well as his “off the wall” sound design that incorporates traditional acoustic musical sounds as well as a wide variety of synthetic components.

Competent in writing for small ensembles all the way to full orchestra, Chris Scott understands when the picture needs all guns blazing or just a simple pad. Beyond his life as a composer/sound designer he has worked as a performer, music director, teacher and vocal coach. He loves to bring every aspect of his life into his work and let it inform each project that he works on.
