Damon Morris

Damon Schwabach-Morris is a multi-disciplinary sonic artist, with high-level competency as a Singer, Composer, Sound Designer, Instrumentalist, Conductor, and Audio Engineer. He assisted composer Jonathan Kawchuck on the CBC Feature Documentary "Carbon: an unauthorized biography," as well as other scores.

Personal Composition credits Include "Aria in Blood# Minor," (Best Music award at 2012 Bloodshots horror festival,) "Artistic Vision," "Mime Vs. Clown," and "Support your Local Video Store" for Raven Song Pictures, as well as Sound Design for the indie game "Press X to not Die" available on Steam.

Studying composition with Giorgio Magnanensi, Jon Korsrud, Adrian Ellis, and Robbie Teehan was crucial in developing a contemporary, cinematic, organic sound. Drawing on a wide variety of bizarre and baroque sources: early music, world percussion, field recording, and creative improvisation, Damon creates vivid holographic sound environments for games and cinema.
