Flavio Silva

Flávio Silva is a Canada-based composer and musician known for blending classical and cinematic elements in his work for film, television, and video game music. His compositions, featured in short films, production music libraries, and video games, highlight his versatility and creative depth.

Born in Porto, Portugal, Flávio studied piano, guitar, and music theory before earning a BFA in Music from York University. Inspired by iconic film scores like Howard Shore’s The Lord of the Rings, he creates emotionally powerful and immersive soundscapes.

Flávio collaborates closely with filmmakers and game developers to craft scores that elevate visual storytelling and gameplay. A seasoned live performer, he has played in various bands across genres and currently performs on synthesizer and piano for the Toronto-based Daniel Monte band.
