Jordan Andrew
Jordan Andrew is a Vancouver-based music composer and sound designer with a unique background which offers an uncommon skillset in the world of film composition.
Today, Jordan uses his acute intuition for film scoring that resonate on an emotional level to effectively support each project. It’s through this dedication that Jordan won a 2023 Leo Award for Best Score for a Short Drama. He holds 2 previous nominations, as well as a 2022 Canadian Screen Music Award (CASMA) nomination.
He recently scored a CBC documentary special about sustainable fishing and is currently working on a feature documentary about women in the aviation industry.
An unrealistic golfer who loves a good laugh, he hopes to score a diverse range of projects with a variety of musicians. Jordan is always excited to discuss future collaborations and ideas waiting to be brought to life - any excuse to nerd out!

I've toured as a professional DJ/Turntablist for almost a decade. I was lucky to share the stage with renowned DJs like Skratch Bastid (Can), Maseo of De La Soul (US), Krafty Kuts (UK) and many more! As well as perform at a variety of festivals and cities like LA and New York.
I think I got some well rounded knowledge in all sorts of different styles of music and pull influence from everywhere.
Having performed in all sorts of different contexts, this helped me curate an understanding of vibe, tempo, rhythm and musical energy as a whole!
I hope this has grown some unique instincts/voices as I continue my journey as film composer!
