Based in Calgary AB, Dillan Schmitz (King Aurorus) is a soundtrack composer/producer working in film, video games and animation and a YYCMA nominated music producer.







He has worked on multi award winning films like “Knights When We Dream” by Focus Pictures inc, MMORPG video games like “Legends of Lairds” by Lore Games, as well as a variety of other projects ranging from animation to vtuber collaborations. He was trained in composition by Juno award winning composer Professor Allan G. Bell CM and has worked with Alec Harrison of Emmy and Rosie award winning SixDegrees music. He has also been trained in music production by EMI Studios producer/NBC sound Engineer Jeff Baust. He holds two degrees in music. One is in music composition from the University of Calgary, and the second is in music for film, TV and video games from Berklee College of Music.
