Medhat Hanbali is a composer specialized in music for media. He has scored numerous productions for film, television, video games, and multimedia shows. His musical palette covers a wide range of genres from orchestral to jazz music. In 2021, Medhat won the 1st prize for Best Animated Score by the SOCAN Foundation Awards for Emerging Screen Composers.



Additionally, he worked as an arranger for several established Canadian artists such as Bobby Bazini and Geneviève Leclerc. Medhat started studying classical piano at age 4, followed by pop & jazz composition and arrangement at Marie-Victorin College, Digital Music at the University of Montreal, and is completing a Master’s degree in Film Scoring at Berklee Online.
