The Screen Composers Guild of Canada has announced that the second International Screen Composers Leadership Summit will take place in Berlin on February 12–13, 2026.

This event brings together leaders of screen composer associations, collective management organizations, and industry experts from around the world for two days of high-level discussion, knowledge sharing, and networking.

Hosted at the Embassy of Canada and the offices of GEMA in Berlin, the summit will explore the most pressing issues facing screen composers today. This includes:

  • The future of collective management
  • The impact of AI
  • Streaming economics
  • Professional development
  • Global advocacy

Through keynote conversations, panel discussions, and interactive sessions, the event offers a unique forum for collaboration and strategic dialogue among those shaping the future of screen music internationally.

The SCGC gratefully acknowledges the support of SOCAN, GEMA, ECSA, DEFKOM, BFM, Nordic Film Music Days, Orchestral Tools, Impact24PR and the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service in making this summit a reality.
