Amin Bhatia
With hundreds of scores to his credit, Emmy-nominated composer Amin Bhatia has written music for film, television, radio, theatre, and albums for more than 30 years.
Early on, Amin’s two prizes in the Roland International Synthesizer competition led to projects with Steve Porcaro of Toto and with David Foster. Some of his synth programming even ended up on Michael Jackson’s Thriller. His albums The Interstellar Suite and Virtuality earned raves, and have become standard repertoire in music ensemble competitions.
Amin has earned multiple Gemini’s, Canadian Screen Awards, and an Emmy Award nomination. Many of his awards are with his friend and colleague Ari Posner.

Amin’s uniqueness comes from his diverse background in composition, electronics, broadcasting and even acting. His perfect pitch and synesthesia make him a freak of nature that even he doesn’t understand, but he’s very grateful for the journey that has resulted.
