
Jeff Goldsmith
Jeff Goldsmith is an award winning film composer, musician, sound designer, and engineer. He primarily composes electronic focused music with influences ranging from classical, to dark ambient, to industrial.
His music combines heavy electronics with treated samples and acoustic instrumentation for moving effect. His music has been described as, “an evocative mix of alternative, dark ambient and auditory narrative soundscape.
His early releases include the industrial focused albums “Vodu” and “May You Find the Light Before the Devil Knows He’s Right”. In 2022 he collaborated with Jim Ward and the band Sparta on their self titled album “Sparta”.
Most recently he has been focusing on composing music for film and television. This includes his award winning orchestral focused score to the short film “Sleepover”, the atmospheric sound design leaning score to the film “Aquaphobia”, and his percussion heavy score to the feature film “Behind the Scenes” among many others.
When he isn’t composing, Jeff loves practicing yoga, watching live music, and traveling. He splits his time between Minneapolis, Minnesota and Encinitas, California with his wife Amy and their beloved rescue dog, Eddie.
