As part of the 33rd Atlantic Film Festival (AFF), the AFF and CBC present From Screen To Score, a special event that provides a look at the role of music composition when scoring a film, at CBC TV’s Studio 1 (1840 Bell Road) in Halifax, Sept. 18. -From Screen To Score will feature the talents of musicians and SCGC members, Shehab Illyas, Asif Illyas, Chris Pauley, Ron Hynes, Kim Dunn, Kris MacFarland, Meghan Smith, joined by filmmakers, Jason Buxton and Michael Ray Fox.
The evening’s program will include performance and dialogue about what it means to create one of the deepest collaborations that happens in film, pictures and sound coming together.
