This year composer Adrian Ellis takes us through his creative and technical process creating a cue for the award winning series, Out With Dad, from the initial conversations with the director, to the writing, production, and finally recording the music with an orchestra.
Focusing on a pivotal, emotionally charged scene, you’ll get an intimate look into the writing process, the use of themes, and how music is used to help the audience connect with characters and story.  You’ll get to see and hear how a cue develops from draft to approval, and what’s involved in having a live ensemble record a score.
